Questions
What is the RE5 exam?
RE5 is the regulatory examination for representatives under the FAIS Act. It tests the legislation that governs financial advice and intermediary services in South Africa, and every representative must pass it.
Does Danley run the exam?
No. Danley prepares you. You register for and write the regulatory exam through the FSCA's examination bodies when you feel ready.
Is Danley approved by the FSCA?
No — and no training provider is. The FSCA does not accredit or approve exam-preparation providers. We build our material from the legislation in the FSCA's published syllabus and explain it in plain language.
How long do I have access?
180 days from the day you pay: long enough to study, write, and rewrite if you need to.
Can I try it first?
Yes. Create a free account and the first three lessons of Module 1 are open, including a video. Unlock the full course when you are ready.
What is in the RE5 course?
9 modules over 6 weeks following the exam tasks, a short video for every module, plain-language notes, a quiz after each module with explanations, timed mock exams, practice and daily review of your wrong answers, and a readiness estimate.
Do you give financial advice?
No. Danley is exam preparation only. Nothing in a course is advice on any financial product.
What are live classes?
Optional small-group classes with a tutor to work through difficult topics, from R250 a ticket. Booked separately; your ticket gives you the join button and reminders.
